Welcome! In Quebec, CACEE is known by its French acronym - ACSEE (L'Association canadienne des spécialistes en emploi et des employeurs). The regional committee typically organizes 2 events each year, such as industrial visits, networking evenings, presentations with wine and cheese, and breakfast-conferences.
The topics presented at our events are of interest both to recruiters and to career advisors who work in post-secondary institutions. Some of our past events include:
- Industrial visit at RBC with a visit to the Montreal Trading Room and a presentation on their hiring practices
- Breakfast-conference on the Managing intercultural diversity et how to optimize your recruitment and management of multicultural teams in your organization
- Presentation (with wine and cheese) on Generation Y - How to attract, recruit and retain this generation
- Breakfast conference on intercultural communication and the keys to recruiting immigrant employees
This coming year, our region is thrilled to be actively involved in hosting the National Conference in Montreal in June 2008.
